Course Overview Electrical engineering is a technical discipline concerned with the study, design and application of equipment, devices and systems which use electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Electrical engineering is now divided into a wide range of fields including, computer engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and electronics. Features  Students remain in this country also serving with local & multinational companies with reputation besides study in B.Sc. Engineering in various universities.  Advanced knowledge of circuit design, programming skills  Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and equipment  Design new ways to use electrical power to develop or improve products  Work with project managers on production efforts to ensure that projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget  Design electronic components, software, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, or scientific applications  Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair Scope It is an interesting branch of engineering because it involves study of computers, electrical, electronics and communication. Electrical engineering primarily deals with generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. Covering subject:  Basic Electricity  Basic electronics  Electrical Engineering Materials  Electrical Circuits  Electrical Appliances  Electrical Installation Planning & Estimating  DC Machines  Industrial Electronics  Programming Essentials  Applied Mechanics  Advance electricity  Renewable Energy  Digital Electronics & Microprocessor  Generation of Electrical Power  Electrical & Electronic Measurement  Alternating Current Machines  Transmission & Distribution of Electrical Power Lab/workshop information The department consists of one lab which are well equipped with modern instruments, so that the students can understand the practical aspects of the subjects studied by them.
